Climate in past 20,000 Years

The peak of the last major glaciation was about 18,000 years ago, when:

- 95% of Canada was covered by ice,  with about two miles of ice on top of what is now Montreal, and

- My property in the Detroit, Michigan suburbs was covered with one mile-thick ice.

Another glaciation peak is likely to happen in the next 100,000 years.

At the prior glaciation peak 18,000 years ago, average sea level was about 400 feet lower than today.

All low-altitude, mid-latitude glaciers had melted by about 7,000 years ago, raising the sea level.

Did people driving SUVs, and using electricity from power plants burning coal, start the warming 18,000 years ago?

Of course not. 

That warming must have had natural causes.

Question: 

Did something happen in 1975 to stop 4.5 billion years of natural climate changes … and suddenly CO2 became the "climate controller"
(at least from 1975 to 1998, when both CO2 levels and average temperature both happened to be in a rising trend) 

Answer: 
No. The false claim that CO2 is the "climate controller" is an effort by "global warmunists" to demonize CO2.

When CO2 is demonized, many people become scared about a 'coming climate catastrophe' -- many of those people will allow leftist politicians to seize more control over their lives 'to save the Earth'.

The claim that any person or computer can predict the climate in 100 years, including the claim that a climate catastrophe is coming, is the biggest hoax in history.

This hoax is led by left-wing politicians promoting BIG GOVERNMENT socialism.

The small minority of "scientists" involved in this hoax (climate modelers) are controlled by the politicians who issue their paychecks and/or their government grants.

These smarmy climate modeler "scientists", on the government dole, know their government  salaries/grants will soon end if they stop believing in a coming climate change catastrophe (that will never happen).
