Hillary is a Climate Change / Hurricane Dunce

Hillary Clinton recently said this during a Florida campaign rally October 11, 2016: “Hurricane Matthew was likely more destructive because of climate change.”

Wrong, Hillary.

Hillary Clinton wants us to believe CO2 from burning fossil fuels causes more hurricanes and stronger hurricanes.

Wrong again, Hillary.

Recently, Hurricane Matthew had an eye that reached category 5 at one point over the Caribbean, but the hurricane was down to category 2 before landfall in South Carolina.

Matthew's eye never did make landfall, so it's now a record 11 years with not one major hurricane eye making landfall in the US.

"Major hurricanes" are category 3, 4, and 5 hurricanes.

We are actually living in a worldwide 30-year lull in hurricanes, typhoons, and cyclones.

Did your favorite media source ever tell you that?

We used to expect a major hurricane
(category 3, 4 or 5) to hit the US about five times per decade -- so 11 consecutive years with no hits is a huge lull.

-- In 1893 a much stronger hurricane followed a track similar to 2016's Hurricane Matthew. The US population was much smaller then, but between 2,000 and 3,000 people died -- it was the second deadliest hurricane in US history.

-- In 1893, another major hurricane killed 2,000 people in Louisiana.

-- In fact, five hurricanes hit the US in 1893.

-- Five hurricanes also hit the US in four other years: 1886, 1893, 1916, and 1933.

Lets consider the period of GLOBAL COOLING from 1940 to 1975:

-- Between 1944 and 1950, six major hurricanes hit Florida.

-- In 1954, three major hurricanes struck the US East Coast in just three months.

The strongest of the three hurricanes in 1954 was Hurricane Hazel.

Hurricane Hazel's path was similar to Hurricane Matthew's 2016 path and strength for a while.

Hazel then hit the coast of North Carolina with 140 mph winds, as a category 4 hurricane.

Hurricane Hazel continued inland and still had some hurricane force winds and torrential rains when it stalled over Toronto.

Hillary Clinton also claimed rising sea level caused by man made warming, means “one in eight homes in Florida could be underwater by the end of the century.”

Wrong again, Hillary.
Sea level in Miami has risen only a little over 1 inch since 1992 —a rate of 4.2 inches per century, and the rate of rise, which started about 20,000 years ago at peak glaciation, is not accelerating.

Sun and ocean current cycles correlate better with global temperature than man made CO2, so why has our government demonized CO2 and spent $150 billion on “green energy” and research over the last 15 years?

-- We lost $500 million when solar panel maker Solyndra went bankrupt.

-- In 2009 we subsidized 11 electric car companies for $2.5 billion -- six are bankrupt and 5 floundering.

-- In 2015 Sun Edison, America’s largest “green energy” company, went bankrupt, costing us $3 billion.

-- Abergeo, the largest international solar energy company, threatens bankruptcy costing us $2.5 billion.

-- We’ve committed $3.5 billion toward a $100 billion climate fund for developing nations -- a total waste of money.

Hillary Clinton wants to build and install 500 million new solar panels in the next four years -- at a cost of about $200 billion—plus higher electric rates for consumers.

She wants all residential energy to be “green” by 2025.

Meanwhile, climate scaremongers like Hillary Clinton have no concern for 1.5 billion people in the world without electricity and 2 to 3 billion people in the world without pure water.

Those very poor people need electricity from abundant, affordable, reliable fossil fuels that Hillary Clinton, and other climate dunces, don't want them to have.

2012's, "Sandy" was a storm sensationalized by leftist-biased media
into a false narrative before the 2012 election, claiming it was an unprecedented “Superstorm” caused by climate change.

The only thing unprecedented was the quantity of false claims that the storm was worsened by global warming.

Imagine if the US had another Dust Bowl drought, like we had in the 1930’s.

How would it be reported by today's smarmy leftist climate change scaremongers?

Here's how the biased media reported a one season US mid-West drought:

Media reaction to the 2012 mid-West drought:
---- Blamed one severe drought on "climate change".

Media reaction to the prior 24 years --1987 through 2011 -- with not one severe mid-West drought, setting a record for the best growing conditions in US climate history:
---- Totally ignored 24 consecutive years with no severe droughts.
