- I've lived in the midwest (Michigan)
since getting my MBA in 1977.
- Lived in the same house for 30 years.
- Lived less than four miles south
in the prior 7 years,
and in New York before that.
- It's definitely not as hot as it used to be,
or as cold as it used to be, here in Michigan.
As I've gotten older I've become more cranky
about weather extremes -- that's something
I notice and complain about !
Bought two expensive snow shovels last fall,
and barely used them last winter.
Tried to write them off as bad investments
on my tax return.
If CO2 causes any of that milder weather
here in Michigan, then give me more of that !
Much of the measured warming since 1975
is in the Arctic -- the warming is far from even and "global".
A smaller temperature differential between the Arctic
and the equator should cause milder weather
in the Northern Hemisphere. And maybe it has.
