The shocking truth about surface temperature data

Note: GISS is the
Goddard Institute
for Space Studies

NASA-GISS
temperature "adjustments"
made since the year 2001,
to historic surface
temperatures,
were mainly 'cooling'
the years before 1900,
(creating more
global warming
out of thin air).

Note that there were
very few measurements
in the Southern Hemisphere,
prior to 1900,
except for Australia,
so government bureaucrats
had to wild guess
almost all of the numbers
for that half of the Earth
before 1900 -- and a large
majority of the numbers
from 1900 to 1940
were wild guessed too ...
... and NASA-GISS frequently
change their old wild guesses,
whenever they feel like
changing them !

NASA-GISS has
warmed all surface data
after 1970 by up to +0.2°C.
with their "adjustments"

NASA-GISS has
cooled all surface data
before 1970:
(cooling the data
prior to 1900
by up to -0.4°C.)

The "adjustments"
since 2001 alone,
could have created
a net warming trend
of +0.6°C.,
which is more
than half the total
warming claimed
since 1880
of about
+1.0 degree C.
( which was
mainly at night.
and totally harmless )

I usually round off
the warming from
data "adjustments"
to half of the
total warming
since 1880.

I'm not doing that anymore,
so I can state these
two shocking facts:

(1)
A majority
of the numbers
used to compile
the NASA-GISS global
average temperature,
have always been
wild guesses
for remote areas
of our planet
with no thermometers.

And that is still true today,
believe it or not !

(2)
A majority of
the claimed warming
of +1.0 degree C.
since 1880
appears to be
from the NASA-GISS
arbitrary "adjustments"
to numbers going back
to the 1800s.

I said "adjustments
to numbers"
rather than
"adjustments to data"
because the numbers
consist of more
wild guesses
than actual
thermometer data.

The global average
temperature consists of
wild guesses that have
been repeatedly "adjusted",
and thermometer
raw data that have also been
repeatedly "adjusted",
which, to me, adds up to
a big pile of steaming garbage,
not real science.

When the majority
of the numbers
are NOT raw data
from real measurements,
it is a deception
to call the global
average surface
temperature
"scientific data".
