Earth’s climate is complex.
You'd think it was simple,
after listening to
the annual 100-year
average temperature
prediction, always stated
with great confidence.
Former head of the
National Aeronautics
and Space Administration
( NASA )
Goddard Institute
for Space Studies,
( GISS )
James Hansen,
once claimed:
“it will soon be
impossible to avoid
climate change
with far-ranging
undesirable
consequences."
"We have reached
a critical tipping point. […]
We have at most ten years
—not ten years to decide
upon action, but ten years
to alter fundamentally
the trajectory of global
greenhouse emissions.”
Earth failed to implode
after ten years.
That caused Hansen
to blame the system instead:
“The democratic process
doesn’t quite seem
to be working,”
he said in 2009.
(The Guardian, 2009).
Our government
bureaucrats predict
future global warming
every year.
Every year since 1979
they predicted warming
at a rate of +3 degrees C.
per doubling of the CO2 level.
Every decade
would have
global warming.
In addition, maximum
global warming
would be at both poles,
and there would be
a tropical "hot spot"
about 6 miles up in the
troposphere.
Here's what
actually happened:
But actual warming
was at a rate
of +1 degree C.
per CO2 doubling,
not +3 degrees C.
(strike 1).
-- Significant warming of the Arctic
-- No warming of Antarctica
(strike 2).
-- Very little global warming
after 1998 ( statistically insignificant )
(strike 3).
Three strikes,
and the government
climate "astrologers"
shouild be "out" !
They obviously don't
understand climate change !
