NASA GISS has been "fixing"
historical temperature data
to show more global warming.
It seems that NASA
has decided to adjust
its v.3 "unadjusted"
temperature database,
and rename it as
v.4 "unadjusted”.
That’s right,
"adjusted" data
magically became
“unadjusted” data.
The "adjustments"
almost always
create MORE
global warming.
Older temperatures
are reduced, and
newer temperatures
are increased.
The new
v.4 "unadjusted"
shows more warming,
even at places
where a cooling trend
once existed.
NASA uses
its "magic wand"
of fudging to turn
past cooling into
(fake) warming.
DETAILS OF ONE
CONFUSING EXAMPLE --
MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN:
v.3 for Marquette:

The “unadjusted” graph
shows a temperature peak
in the 1930s, followed by
cooling since the 1930s.
v.3 "adjusted"
closely matches
the v.3 "unadjusted"
in recent decades;
but in earlier decades,
( 1880 to the 1970s ),
there are large 'cooling
the past' adjustments,
averaging over +2 C.
Cooling the past with
adjustments creates
"global warming"
out of thin air.
For the June 2019
v.4 temperatures,
the v.3 “adjusted"
has been relabeled
as v.3 “unadjusted.”
The small cooling trend
in v.3 "unadjusted,"
is now a strong
warming trend,
in what is called the
v.4 “unadjusted”,
( which is actually the
old v.3 adjusted series ).
This is deliberately,
or inadvertently,
science fraud

The "unadjusted" v.3 data
used to show no trend,
but the new v.4 “unadjusted”
now has a warming trend.
( 6) Valentia Observatory, Ireland.
Past temperatures
were cooled,
while more recent
temperatures
were warmed,
= more global warming.
It is suspicious
the adjustments
almost always
cool the past,
and / or
warm the present,
producing a
stronger global
warming trend.
In addition to NASA,
NOAA has also
made adjustments to
historic temperature data,
which have "erased"
the 1940 through 1970’s
temperature decline,
that once provoked
predictions of a
coming ice age.
NOAA now claims no cooling.
This is science fraud.
