Modern European Heatwaves

On July 25, 2019:
Record high daytime temperatures
(since 1880) were set in the UK,
Germany, Belgium, Netherlands
and France.

You probably heard about that.

The media failed to mention all
measurements were made
DURING a warming trend.

So record highs
were EXPECTED,
and should be EXPECTED
to continue in the future,
until the warming trend ends,
and a cooling trend begins.

You may not have heard
about this additional fact:

(A)
The record
LONG heatwave,
( consecutive days
reaching 30 degrees C. )
lasted 14 days, from
July 22 to August 4.

That's really hot,
for a long time.

However that record
was set in 1947,
but I suppose people
don't need to know that --
because climate
scaremongering about
2019 heat is more important ?
