Physicist Will Happer, PhD, expected to head a Presidential Council on Climate Security (PCCS), has resigned

Dr. Will Happer,
Emeritus Professor of Physics
at Princeton and one of
America’s finest physicists,
resigned from from Trump's
National Security Council (NSC).

He accepted the job expecting to
lead a “red team - blue team"
climate science debate.

That will not happen,
apparently due to opposition
from within the Trump
administration at the
“deep-state” level.

The Daily Caller described Happer
as “one of the strongest voices
against climate science
within the Trump administration.”

They lied.

Happer was the strongest
voice against climate alarmism.

Science is supposed to be
about empirical evidence,
not wild guess computer
models, making always wrong
predictions of a coming climate
crisis, for the past 30+ years..

Happer’s original idea to review
climate research involved
a team of scientists who would
critique government science
reports and play up the areas
of uncertainty.

They would question the
National Climate Assessment
and challenge the EPA's
endangerment finding
( that CO2 is pollution --
one of the most ridicupius
statements in the history
of science. )

White House advisers,
including science adviser
Kelvin Droegemeier,
viewed the plan to
question climate models,
as a serious risk to Trump's
prospects for reelection.

Happer's time at the National
Security Council was mostly
occupied by work on
classified military projects.

He also helped drive
an executive order
issued by the president
on the dangers of
electromagnetic pulses
on the electrical grid.

Happer will return to
Princeton University,
where he is
expected to publish
a research paper
that questions
methane's impact
on the climate.

Happer will also likely
rejoin the CO2 Coalition,
which he founded,
which says rising levels
of CO2 can benefit people.
