Rappin ' on the Davos Economic Summit Doom-Mongers vs. President Trump

German economist
Klaus Schwab
founded the World
Economic Forum
in 1971.

A not-for-profit
foundation,
its mission is to
“improve the
state of the world by
engaging business,
political, academic
and other leaders
of society
to shape global,
regional and
industry agendas”.

Last month,
in Swotzerland,
President Trump
dismissed the
“predictions
of the
apocalypse”
       and
“prophets of doom”.

For the first time
that I know of,
a Trump speech
reflected progress
in his understanding
of real climate science.

Global warming
is happening,
of course,
 ... although no
global warming
from 1940 to 1975,
in spite of
the CO2 levels
increasing, and
very little global
warming from
2003 to mid-2015,
in spite of
the CO2 levels
increasing a lot.

Real climate
science is mainly
a lot of questions,
seeking answers.

Only junk
science
is "certain".

The certainty that
eco-warriors present
to the public is very
dishonest --
they are "selling"
junk science.

Such as
the claimed
link between
the Australian
bush fires and
climate change

Their false claim
completely ignores
the huge number
of Australian
acres burned
in the
1974-1975
bush-fires,
AFTER 35 years
of global cooling,
and BEFORE
the 1975 to 2019
global warming
period began !

Confident
predictions
of climate doom
started more than
a century ago --
they get media
attention for any
scientist willing
to scare people.

The coming
climate crisis
is nothing more
than repeated
predictions
of doom,
made by people
who have already
proven they have
no ability to predict
the future climate !

Studies of the heat
going into the oceans
by Israeli physicist
Nir Shaviv, suggest
the Sun has a large
effect on climate
change.

Eco-warriers
have not credibly
refuted his findings,
published in the
prestigious Journal
of Geophysical
Research.

But contrary views
are not debated.

And contrary views
are not permitted.

So contrary views
are ignored.

IPCC-endorsed
computer models
are treated as if
they are real data.

And "armed"
only with their
computer game
predictions,
the eco-warriors
demand that the
rest of the world
must accept all
their predictions,
and all of their
"solutions"
-- large economic
sacrifices, managed
by strong governments,
in the name of reaching
net zero carbon.

US President
Donald Trump
was the
clear winner
at the
World Economic
Forum at Davos.

The response to Trump:

The 3,000 “Davos Men"
and Davos Women"
 -- rich liberal elites --
used the following words,
as often as possible:
"inclusion, resilience,
climate emergency,
climate action, and
sustainability".

US businessman
Peter Grauer
entertained a
rapt audience
with the following
meaningless
platitudes,
in his effort
at virtue signaling:
“We are totally committed
as leaders to driving change.

It’s a race without a finish line,
but we will make incremental
gains as we go forward,”

When IBM chief executive
Ginni Rometty had his turn
at platitudes, and virtue
signaling, he said:
"This is going to be
a decade of trust
… if this era is
going to thrive,
people have to trust
the technology
and trust
that the era
will be inclusive.

President Trump
had different
thoughts:

“The American dream
is back, bigger,
better and stronger
than ever before
… and no one is
benefiting more than
America’s middle-class,”
Trump told the forum.

Trump had the gall
to say something
positive to leftists,
who are perpetually
unhappy !

Trump slammed
all the leftists:
“We will never let
radical socialists
destroy our economy,
wreck our country
or eradicate our liberty ... ”
calling on delegates to
“reject the perennial
prophets of doom
and their predictions
of the apocalypse”.

Enter "thundering"
Greta Thunberg,
the "Anti-Trump".

The Swedish high school
dropout seems to be
the leftists'  chief prophet
of doom since she burst
onto the world stage
last year.

“We don’t need
to cut emissions,
we need to stop
(CO2) emissions,”
Thunberg urged,
before going on
to accuse leaders of
“cheating and fiddling
around with numbers”
and promoted cutting
CO2 emissions to
“net zero” by 2050
( Net Zero CO2 emissions,
or carbon neutrality,
means emitting
no more carbon dioxide
than will be absorbed
by the planet's plants ).
