NASA and NOAA are
government agencies
who keep telling us that
our planet is warming.
That's not news.
Our planet is ALWAYS
warming, or cooling.
Based on strong
anecdotal evidence,
and some temperature
measurement in
Central England,
there has been
a global warming trend
since the late 1600's.
And not much of
of that warming
can be blamed
on CO2 emissions.
But never mind that
-- that's real science --
and 300+ years of
mild, harmless global
warming is certainly
not very exciting !
Our planet has existed
for 4.5 billion years.
The global average
temperature statistics
we always hear about
have only been compiled
for 140 years.
And in those 140 years,
the first 40 years had
very little data from the
Southern Hemisphere.
And the next 60 years
had far from complete
global surface coverage.
In fact an honest scientist
would not use the first 100
years of data -- 1880
to 1980 -- to draw any
conclusions.
The use of satellites,
after 1980, made it
possible to collect
near-global data,
except for small
areas over both
poles.
Satellites measure
in the troposphere
where the
greenhouse
effect happens.
Near global data,
gathered where
the greenhouse
effect happens.
Great news ?
Not for
government
bureaucrats !
NASA and NOAA
do not own those data,
so can not "adjust"
the satellite data
to support whatever
narrative they want
to tell the public !
Satellite data show
less global warming
than NASA and NOAA
surface temperature
data, so those government
bureaucrats completely
ignore satellite data !
Government
bureaucrats compile
surface temperature data
to create an important
statistic used to promote
the coming climate
crisis narrative:
The global average
temperature.
I don't consider that
statistic to be important:
Not one person lives in
the average temperature.
Bureaucrats
never mention that
much of the planet has
no data, so they just guess
the temperature in those
areas.
Bureaucrats
never mention
that some "record"
high temperatures
are in areas with no
thermometers --
bureaucrats guess the
temperature, and then
declare their guess
to be a "record" !
Bureaucrats
certainly never
mention that they make
so many "adjustments"
to the raw temperature data,
that most of the alleged
global warming is from
their "adjustments",
not from the raw data !
Following is
one good example
of NASA (GISS)
"adjustments".
Earlier in April 2020,
a “rare spring snow”
covered large parts
of northern Greece.
The Greek
Reporter said:
“Of course,
Northern Greece
is used to
low temperatures
and snow,
but even for
their standards,
such an intense
snowfall in
April is rare.”
The
Electroverse
weather site
reported how
southeast
Europe
had seen its
“coldest April
morning in
a decade”,
potentially
causing
crop damage.

NASA altered raw data
for the two Greek stations,
and named the new
data set “V4 adjusted”.
The warming trend
exists ONLY because
NASA "adjusted" raw
temperature data !
NASA ( and NOAA )
can do anything
they want to do
with the raw data, and
there's nothing you
can do about it.
The "deep state",
inside our agencies,
includes many
leftist bureaucrats,
with science degrees,
given the power
to "adjust" raw data
any way they want
to !
And they do a lot
of temperature
" adjusting ".
