When did climate science become a cult ?

Skepticism is
the most
important
attribute of a
good scientist;

Question everything.

Scientific knowledge
is established
by evidence,
not authority.

According to a recent
survey by Pew Research,
public confidence in medical
scientists to act in the best
interest of the public increased
from 35% in 2019, to 43%
in April 2020, in spite of
bad COVID-19 predictions.

"Experts" wildly
over-projected
the number of
COVID-19 deaths.

A rational response
to failed predictions
would be to reject
new predictions.

But cult followers
place faith in authority,
rather than evidence,
so their confidence
is largely unchanged
by contradictory data.

 Most Democrats reflexively
 trust the advice and authority
of government experts and
are heavily invested in
government-funded science.

Democrats are certain
that these experts have
only the public good in mind
and that no one is better
qualified to advise and
shape public health policies.

Most Republicans are deeply
suspicious of big government
and believe that society thrives
when government's power
and scope are strictly limited.

Progressive Democrats
have always claimed
they hold the high ground
when it comes to science.

From climate change
to green energy, they
see themselves as
the party of science, p
ainting Republicans
as anti-science.

In fact, Democrats are not
the party of science, but are
the party of government
controlled "science".

Their cult-like devotion
to government-controlled
science rejects any form
of skepticism that stands
in the way of the official
climate change narrative.

Vigorous debate,
a huge part of real
science, is avoided.
