"Data Adjustments"
are how NASA-GISS
tells us the US
has been warming
over the past century.
Temperature
trends are
'warmed up'
by what NASA calls
“data adjustments”.
Six examples follow:
Four of the 6 stations
in the charts below
showed a clear cooling
trend, which was then
altered by NASA-GISS
to show a warming
trend.
Another station
saw its flat trend
turned into a
warming trend.
Another station
had shown only
modest warming,
but was altered
to show stronger
warming.

until NASA "fixed that":

would laugh
at anyone claiming
that the country was
‘hotter than ever’
today !
DO NOT ALTER
THE RAW DATA
It's scientifically wrong
to routinely adjust
raw data.
If raw data
appear "wrong"
then say so,
give reasons
why they look
"wrong", and try
to make better
measurements
in the future.
"Adjusted"
data are
no longer
real data.
Manipulating
measured
raw data
means
inserting a
personal
opinion of
what the data
would have been
if measured
correctly
in the first
place.
NASA changes
data in their
Global Average
Land+Ocean
Temperature
Index every
month.
They follow
a suspicious pattern
-- Data adjustments
since about 1970
consistently
increased the
warming rate,
often by cooling
past temperatures.
It is a federal crime,
under section 2071
of Title 18 of the
U.S. Code, for the
custodian of federal
data to manipulate it.
It carries up to
a $250,000 fine,
and 3-year prison
term, penalty.
NASA-GISS
gets around
the crime
by allowing
their raw data
to be available.
But NASA
has created
an alternative
temperature
reality using
their "adjusted"
raw data, and
demand that
people accept it.
The Earth’s surface
temperature record
is badly corrupted
by raw data
"adjustments",
and wild guesses
for much of the
planet, where there
are no weather
stations.
With such low
quality data,
it is impossible
to say whether
claims such as
“2017 was the
third-warmest year
since thermometers
became common
in the late
19th century",
are really true.
The obvious mistake
in publicly released data
is that NASA provides
no explanation of why
historical data are
repeatedly adjusted
-- why were data
assumed to be wrong,
and when will the
"adjustments"
of historical
temperature data
finally end ?
NASA adjusts
ALL raw data.
There are some
weather stations,
where some data
adjustments
may be justified.
But not routinely
changing all the
raw data in a way
that better supports
the coming global
warming crisis
(fictional) narrative.
And not just
a single one-time
"adjustment"
-- there are also
"adjustments"
made to the
"adjustments" !
NASA avoids real science.
Repeated "adjustments"
are junk science !
