Note: As a libertarian since 1973, I have not voted for any Democrats since 1972, or any Republican since 1980. To me, both parties love to spend money, and reduce our freedom. We keep getting more government, and less freedom, mainly after the 9/11attacks, with an acceleration in 2020, when state governors jumped in to mismanage the COVID pandemic. Republicans and Democrats often start needless wars that we lose as often as we win. In my opinion Joe Biden is not mentally capable of managing a McDonalds restaurant.
Biden is not capable of handing the hardest job in the world -- the US president, and this is not a close call. His mind has deteriorated this year, and when you can notice a change in six to twelve months, that early dementia. Ordinary aging-related deterioration of short term memory is much more gradual. I don't expect Biden to debate Trump -- I would not have said that one year ago. I don't care if you vote for Trump -- you can vote for the Green Party if you want to, but please consider Biden's frequent "lost moments" as being very important. I would say this if I agreed with EVERY Biden policy. He is not mentally fit for the job. For you liberals, Biden makes Trump seem smart ! Biden seems to read whatever is on his Teleprompter, so I can't say the energy policy that follows is really his, but this is what his campaign has released, ...

Executive action to reverse all of the Trump executive orders. Reinstating Obama-era policies that President Trump rolled back, like methane limits on oil and gas operations. Exceed Obama’s policies by eventually requiring all new light- and medium-duty vehicles to be zero emission vehicles. ( Not feasible for many decades, if ever. )
And new restrictions on oil and gas leases on public lands and waters.

Work with Congress to enact legislation that, by the end of his first term, puts us on an path to achieve economy-wide net-zero emissions no later than 2050. ... ( Anyone who drives a combustion automobile emits carbon pollution, so this goal ignores what consumers want. )
3). Rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement. ... ( The agreement is voluntary with no penalties for missing targets, so is just left wing virtue signaling. China and other big polluters do nothing before 2030. The Green slush fund is a waste of money. Obama the fool donated one billion dollars we'll never see again! )
4). Invest $400 billion over ten years in clean energy and innovation. ... ( Past Obama Department of Energy loans went to many companies that went bankrupt, or had no hope of making a profit. )
5).
Target reducing the carbon footprint of the U.S. building stock 50% by 2035. Target getting the agricultural sector to net-zero emissions. 6). Make "environmental justice" a priority across all federal agencies. Address the disproportionate impact of climate change and air pollution on “communities of color, tribal lands, and low-income communities.” ... ( Complete nonsense.)

"Requiring polluters to bear the full cost of their climate pollution.” Require publicly-traded companies to disclose climate-related financial risks to shareholders.
( And some “feel good” language about putting corporate executives in jail for climate pollution.)
8). Create 10 million good-paying, middle-class, union jobs, associated with efforts to “prevent, reduce, and withstand the impacts of this climate crisis.” ... ( There is no climate crisis, the climate is wonderful .)

Fulfill our obligation to the communities and workers that have risked their lives to produce fossil fuels that made it possible for America to win world wars and become an industrial power. Retraining blue collar fossil fuel workers whose jobs would disappear as the U.S. moves to 100% clean energy. ... ( Retrain them to do what, program computers? )
These nine points add up to the Biden version of the Green New Ordeal, the extremely expensive, not feasible, plan to replace cheap, reliable electricity with expensive, unreliable solar and wind electricity, and to make all our internal combustion cars and trucks obsolete. The Green New Ordeal is something you'd expect Communist China to propose for us, hoping we would self destruct our economy. Remember that China has no pollution targets until 2030, and might just ignore their targets ten years from now. Dictatorships are likely to do whatever they want to, no matter what they promised ten years earlier.
