The warming since the late 1600s Maunder Minimum low solar energy period, until now, must be approximated, because there are only three central England weather stations in operation since then.
Based on those stations, and climate proxy reconstructions, the temperature has increased by at least +1,5 degrees C. since the 1690s, up to +3 degrees C.
That warming was good news all the way.
Another +1.5 degrees,C. of warming in the future, which could take a century, would be additional good news.
The plants on our planet love more CO2 in the air, and when there is CO2 enrichment, they also prefer a warmer temperature, and need less water.
The difference between us is that I study the past ACTUAL climate, while climate alarmists IMAGINE a future climate that bears no relationship to past global warming.
CO2 concentration increases in the past were accompanied by mild, harmless warming.
How much of that warming CO2 caused is unknown -- but let's assume, with no proof, that CO2 caused all the warming.
Climate alarmists would have us believe similar rises of CO2 concentrations in the future will cause A MUCH FASTER WARMING rate than in the past.
Alarmists are claiming the SAME inputs of CO2 concentration growth will cause a very DIFFERENT output of temperature changes in the future.
Same input, but expecting a different output, is the definition of insanity.
And that means climate alarmists are insane.
I won't waste my time, and yours, fearing an imaginary climate crisis, that has been predicted since 1957, and never shows up.
