The "climate crisis" consists of nothing more than predictions of doom.
Predictions started by oceanographer Roger Revelle, way back in 1957.
Predictions made by people who have proven over the 64 years since 1957, that they have NO ability to predict the climate.
For 64 years in a row we have been told a climate crisis is coming in 10 years, or 20 years.
Meanwhile, back in reality:
We are living in a mild warming trend during an interglacial period.
20,000 years ago Canada was covered by a thick glacier.
The glaciers had melted about 10,000 years ago, and not from CO2 emissions from Canadian SUVs.
From about 8,000 to 5,000 years ago, the planet was warmer than today -- the period is called the Holocene (interglacial) Climate Optimum. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holocene_climatic_optimum
Since then there have been mild warming and cooling trends.
The last cooling trend reached was the coldest in the late 1600s.
People living at that time hated their climate.
There were some famines too, as farming was less productive in the cold climate.
Those people would have been thrilled if they had the warmer climate that we have today -- probably about +2 degrees warmer.
Not only is our climate the best it has been since the 1600s, but our planet is also significantly greening from more CO2 in the air.
But the current CO2 level of about 420 parts per million is far short of the 800 to 1,200 ppm our plants need for optimum growth.
Reality is the good news about our current climate.
Everything else is science fiction.
The alleged climate crisis will always be coming in 10 years, because it exists only in over active leftist imaginations.
The following chart shows the global average temperature for each year, from 1880 to 2016 (data before 1920 are rough estimates) Please try not to panic:
The following chart shows the average temperature for the 48 contiguous US states, using the best U.S. weather station network -- NOAA's USCRN, which started collecting data in 2005. There is no US warming trend after 2005, and February 2021 was the coldest month since 2005:
