Climate alarmism is a secular religion based on the appeal to authority logical fallacy.
The belief in a coming climate crisis was not created with facts, data and logic, like any religion, so can not be refuted with facts, data and logic.
For 'green zealots', the "authority / expert" must be a leftist, and a government employee, or supported by a government grant, or supported by a leftist non-government organization grant.
Everyone who disagrees is called a climate denier, and debate rejected using the most anti-science statement ever created: "The science is settled".
You've got to remember these facts about the green zealots:
Any "study" that says the past climate barely changed is blindly accepted as a fact,
Any "study' that predicts climate related doom in the future is blindly accepted as a fact,
Historical temperature data are constantly and gradually revised to better fit the "CO2 controls the climate" narrative, and
Predictions of a coming climate crisis began in 1957, with oceanographer Roger Revelle.
Predictions of a crisis have grown louder and more hysterical each decade, as the actual climate gets better with each decade .. unless you think warmer winter nights in Siberia are bad news !
The long predicted climate emergency exists ONLY in one place: In the over active imaginations of gullible leftists.
They will forever believe in a coming climate crisis, just as others believe in god, heaven and hell, and life after death.
The only thing that 'might' change their minds is many years of unusually cold weather ... sort of like 2021 so far.
Can you convince a green zealot that the ACTUAL global warming in the past 45 years was harmless, the current climate is wonderful, and no climate crisis is coming?
I'll answer that question with another question: Do you think you could convince a born again Christian that there is no god?
