Off Topic Science: The 80 years of UFO lies are expected to continue, with a new official UFO report, to be released soon, that will probebly tell us very little

Please move on to the next article if you can not take this subject seriously, as I do.

Government employee and government grant-funded scientists have been predicting a coming global warming crisis since the late 1950s. Starting quietly, and with uncertainty. Now they are hysterical, and have no uncertainty. That's almost 65 years of consistently wrong coming climate crisis predictions. And that's what makes this climate science and energy blog necessary.

About once a year I feature an article on UFOs. Mainly as an excuse to present my "crop circle" photographs, which I consider modern art.

Concerning Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), we have been told there's nothing to see, for about 80 years. Here in Michigan, in the 1990s, we were told UFO sightings were actually "swamp gas".  An insulting lie.

Our government is about to issue a "report" on UFOs. They are already spinning a fake story, pushed by our USSR PRAVDA-like media, that UFOs may have a connection to Russia and China. (see article below). Yet another fake "blame Russia" story. But this time expanded to include China. These are deliberate lies to justify more military and/or intelligence spending by our government.

And while I'm on the subject of government lies: There was no Gulf of Tonkin incident that justified expanding the Vietnam War, which we ended up losing. It never happened. Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction. Donald Trump did not collude with Russians - in fact, as President, his foreign policy with Russia was unusually harsh. Police do not discriminate against black suspects who resist arrest -- white suspects who resist arrest are much more likely to be killed. Based on data -- not false beliefs. Our lives are filled with lies, and now include brazen media censorship too. I cover those issues on my Election Circus Blog. But the subject of UFOs is more science related.

Unlike false claims that climate science is "settled", the science of understanding UFO flight capabilities is 100% unsettled. We have no idea how they stay up in the atmosphere. We have no defense against them. But we know military pilots around the world have seen them by the tens of thousands. It's long past time to stop ridiculing UFOs, and pretending they don't exist. Which causes most UFO witnesses to remain silent.

I have been following this subject since the 1970s. I only consider reports from pilots, of which there have been tens of thousands since the 1940s. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of commercial pilots who see UFOs will file a UFO report, fearing ridicule, and possibly even losing their job.

The treatment of UFOs seems like an early version of what has become the leftist "cancel culture", involving many subjects (fascist-style censorship).

UFOs have been reported by US military pilots since World War II, when they were called "foo fighters".

There were also over 12,600 written UFO reports filed by US Air Force pilots, from the late 1940s to late 1960s, when such reports were mandatory. If you think professional pilots, and some radar operators, were ALL mistaken, then you are not much of a thinker, in my opinion.

The UFOs are obviously coming here from another planet, or planets. They have been observing our planet at least since the 1940s. Probably much longer. They appear to observe us like we observe animals in a zoo.

We send spacecraft to other planets. Do you think we are the only living beings in the universe who can do that? Why would you think that?

UFOs may be manned, or drones. If there are living beings on the UFOs, rather than AI robots, they apparently don't want to meet us. Probably correctly assuming we'd shoot them first, and ask questions later. Just like in the great 1950s science fiction movie: "The Day The Earth Stood Still".

UFOs (aliens) are particularly interested in the development of nuclear power and nuclear weapons on our planet. They do not appear to be hostile. As if trying to show us they are NOT hostile, they created complex works of art in farmer's fields all over the world, overnight, with no lighting, yet with geometric perfection.

Photos of my favorite "crop circles" (far more complex than "circles") follow this article. Don't listen to claims that they are hoaxes -- that deception is aimed at stupid people who trust everything their government tells them. Note that there have been some simple, uneven, fake crop circles, made by humans, during daylight hours, as hoaxes.

Physicists from the University of Michigan examined stalks of crops from real "crop circles". The physicists found unprecedented changes to the nodes of the bent, but not broken, plant stalks. They said the changes were caused by an energy force they could not explain. The real "crop circle" stalks were completely unlike the bent and physically broken stalks in the fake crop circles, that were made by humans smashing down crops with wood boards.

This is explained in a very good 43-minute "Circles From the Sky" video, from the History Channel in 2015 -- season 10, episode 8, of "Ancient Aliens". That's a TV show I do NOT recommend, except for this video (A typical show is a half hour of interesting information and a half hour of needless speculation that I can't stand. Even the 43 minute video called Circles From The Sky, at the second link below, includes 5 to 10 minutes of needless speculation, but the rest is very good).

Not free full length 43 minute History Channel video:
Sorry to tell you the full length version is no longer available for free. I have a free mp4 copy from years ago, but the file is much too large to post the mp4 here. From the link below, you can watch the full show on "Hulu", or pay $1.99 to get it elsewhere. It is definitely worth $1.99:

To claim UFOs have human origins, you have to completely ignore 100% of the evidence.  Such as UFO flight characteristics completely unlike any technology on this planet. Perhaps UFOs use Earth's gravity field to maneuver? Or a propulsion system far beyond our understanding. We know they are silent, have no wings, emit no heat, fly at unbelievable speeds, and maneuver with G-forces that would kill humans.

The UFOs are NOT from Russia or China. That claim is worse than the fake story that candidate Donald Trump colluded with Russians to win the 2016 US presidential election. Or the fake story that the 2020 election was the most honest election in US history.

I believe many people don't really want to know the truth about many subjects. They just want constant reassurance that what they already believe is "the truth".        Ye Editor

Source of quotes below:

" ... the US government’s highly anticipated UFO report due this month won’t contain any significant revelations

and certainly won’t verify anyone’s ideas about these phenomena being extraterrestrial in origin,

but it absolutely will contain fearmongering that UFOs could be evidence that the US has fallen dangerously behind Russian and Chinese technological development in the cold war arms race.

Unknown US officials have done a print media tour speaking to the press on condition of anonymity (of course),

with first The New York Times reporting their statements about the contents of the UFO report and then CNN and The Washington Post.

Each of these outlets reported the same thing: the US government doesn’t know what these things are

but is very concerned they constitute evidence that Russia and/or China have somehow managed to technologically leapfrog US military development by light years.

All three mention these two nations explicitly.

This narrative was then picked up by cable news, with MSNBC inviting former CIA director and defense secretary Leon Panetta on to explain to their audience

that the US government should assume UFOs are Russian or Chinese in origin until that possibility has been exhausted.

“Is it your assumption that it is Russia or China testing some crazy technology that we somehow don’t have,

or are we sort of over-assuming the abilities of China and Russia and that the only other explanation is that if it is not us ourselves then it is something otherworldly?” MSNBC’s Chuck Todd asked Panetta.

“I believe a lot of this stuff probably could be countries like Russia, like China, like others, who are using now drones, using the kind of sophisticated weaponry that could very well be involved in a lot of these sightings,” Panetta replied.

“I think that’s the area to go to very frankly in order to identify what’s happening.”

“It sounds like you think we should exhaust that out, exhaust that hypothesis first before you start dealing with other hypotheses,” Todd said.

“Yeah, absolutely,” said Panetta, who for the record is every bit as much of a tyrannical, thuggish imperialist cold warrior as any other CIA director.

This UFOs as Chinese/Russian threat narrative has quickly been picked up and thrust into mainstream orthodoxy by all the major branches of the mass media,

from Fox News to Reuters to The Guardian to Today to the BBC to USA Today.

Whenever you see the imperial media converge to this extent upon a single narrative, that’s the Official Narrative of the empire.

We can expect to see a lot more of this going forward.

Interestingly, the only mass media segment I’ve seen on this topic since the New York Times story broke which doesn’t promote the UFOs as Chinese/Russian threat narrative is a guest appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight by Lue Elizondo,

the military intelligence veteran who got the ball rolling on the new UFO narrative which emerged in 2017.

Elizondo goes out of his way to tell Carlson ... that there’s no way these could be Russian or Chinese aircraft.

Elizondo, who seems to favor the UFOs as extraterrestrials narrative, argues that there are extensive records of military encounters with these phenomena stretching back seventy years,

which rules out China since it could barely keep its head above water back then and rules out Russia because it shared its UFO knowledge with the US after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

... it is entirely possible that Elizondo set out on this road out of a sincere desire for government disclosure on UFOs

and is now trying to regain control of the narrative now that he sees the cold war arms race direction it has taken.

Chris Melon, another major player in the new UFO narrative, recently complained on Twitter that “some important information was not shared” with the public in the UFO report.

So who knows, maybe the initiators of this new UFO narrative were acting in good faith and their efforts were just swiftly hijacked by forces beyond their control to advance preexisting cold war agendas.

Regardless of whether or not that’s true, it was always inevitable that this strange new rabbit hole of UFOs going mainstream was going to lead to more cold war propaganda.

I’ve been interacting a bit with the online UFO community for the first time ever, and it seems like they’re mostly decent people with good intentions and a lot of hope for this new governmental investigation.

But it also seems like they’re largely a community which mostly just talks to itself and is only just beginning to meet the cold harsh light of day that is the impenetrable depravity of the US war machine.

The US government is pure swamp; you can’t use the swamp to fix the swamp.

... the US government isn’t going to investigate itself and tell everyone that aliens are real.

If there are indeed extraterrestrials and they are indeed flying around our world in strange aircraft,

we are more likely to get the truth about this from the extraterrestrials themselves than from the US military.

The war machine only does killing and destruction; it’s not going to suddenly develop an interest in truth and transparency.

The sooner UFO enthusiasts realize this the better."
