First winter 2021 - 2022 snowfall in the Detroit metropolitan area

It's Sunday moring here in Bingham Farms, Michigan, about seven miles northwest of the Detroit border. We have enjoyed the mild global warming since the 1970s.  I moved here from New York in Summer 1977. It was a state with cold winters. 2021 reminded me of the 1970s, by starting with unusually cold months, and seems to be ending the same way.

After enjoying 45 years of global warming, from about 1975 to 2020 ... 2021 has not been following the pattern we enjoyed, and wanted to continue.

Always remember that "global" warming has most affected the Northern half of the Northern Hemisphere. Mainly during the coldest months of the year.  And mainly at night. Many residents feeling the most warming are happy about climate change. Good news for us, not bad news!
