Climate Science Talking Points:
(1) Earth’s climate is always changing.
(2) The future climate is always unknown.
(3) CO2 is not pollution -- it is an airborne plant food that causes green plants to grow. That means more CO2 in the air accelerates plant growth, which is very good news for the people and animals who eat plants.
(4) Manmade CO2 has no more than a minor effect on the climate, and the effect may be too small to measure:
Proof that rising manmade CO2 since 1940 was not important:
- The average temperature of Earth DECREASED from 1940 to 1976 (surface measurements),
- The average temperature also DECREASED from 1998 to 2015 (more accurate satellite measurements), and
- The average temperature also DECREASED from 1998 to 2015 (more accurate satellite measurements), and
- The average temperature INCREASED only from 1976 to 1998 (that brief correlation must be a coincidence, because it is contradicted by the temperature downtrends in the other years since 1940.)
(5) The warming after the last ice age ended 15,000 years ago was NOT started by CO2.
(6) The +1.5 degree F. (+/- 1.0) warming from 1880 to 2015 is a perfectly normal climate variation for our planet, and was NOT started by CO2.
(7) The only known correlation of CO2 levels and Earth's average temperature was discovered with ice core studies: Temperature peaks were FOLLOWED by CO2 peaks -- exactly the opposite of the rising CO2 causes rising temperature theory that's popular today!
(8) IPCC climate models produce grossly inaccurate wild guesses of the future climate (climate astrology) -- 97% of the computer simulations overstate actual warming.
(9) The claim that '97% of scientists have a consensus on global warming' is based on a bogus survey, whose biased results are further distorted by being misinterpreted: Scientists only agree that Earth is slightly warmer than it was 150 years ago. There is no other consensus.
(10) Claims of a coming climate catastrophe are a political strategy to scare people into demanding their central governments exert more control over corporations and individuals.
The climate scare was invented by left-wing socialists who want POWERFUL CENTRAL GOVERNMENTS, staffed by left-wing bureaucrats, micromanaging our lives.
The climate scare is kept alive by various central governments bribing climate modelers with grants, ONLY if they predict a coming climate crisis.
