Al Gore released his film “An Inconvenient Truth” in 2006.
Have Gore’s scary climate change warnings come true?
Gore claimed Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak, would be snow-free “within the decade.”
Didn't happen!
11 years later, there’s still snow on Kilimanjaro all year.
Gore claimed temperature rises from increases in man-made carbon dioxide emissions were going to be “uninterrupted and intensifying.”
Didn't happen!
Unknown to Gore, a few years before his film was released the average global temperature began a 12 year flat (no warming) trend.
The flat trend started in the early 2000s, and lasted until the 2015/2016 El NiƱo heat release from the Pacific Ocean.
An El Nino is a natural, cyclical ocean event -- not man made, and not related to CO2 -- so the flat trend could continue in the future.
Gore predicted storms would become more frequent and intense as man-made emissions warmed the oceans.
Didn't happen!
In the US, not one strong (category 3, 4 or 5) hurricane hitting the mainland from 2005 to 2017 -- a record 12-year hurricane-free span.
And the global Accumulated Cyclone Energy Index showed no rising trend.
Gore also claimed in 2008 that there would be no Arctic ice by 2013.
Didn't happen!
Wrong again Al Bore!
Climate change is a false boogeyman used by liberal politicians to justify more government regulations, and new energy taxes on private sector businesses ( aka socialism ) ... by claiming they are trying to save the earth.
