(1)
I don't know if the future climate will be warmer or cooler -- nor does anyone else -- 20 years of reading about climate change, and that's my best sentence to summarize real climate science! (as opposed to the usual climate scaremongering for political gain),
(2)
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a wonderful chemical -- the staff of life -- it has ranged from about 8,000 parts per million to 200 ppm, in the past 4.5 billion years, according to geologists -- the current level is 400 ppm.
(3)
In periods when oceans were warm, lots of CO2 was in the air ... and when oceans were cool, lots of CO2 was dissolved in the water,
(4)
Changes in ocean temperatures, from natural causes, result in changes in atmospheric CO2 levels, with a lag of 500 to 1,000 years, according to studies of the past 800,000 years using Antarctica ice cores (original sentence corrected on 10/28/17),
(5)
There are no historical temperature data showing that CO2 controls the average temperature of our planet, or is even important,
(6)
There are no historical temperature data showing that anything unusual has happened in 'the era of man made CO2 since 1940',
(7)
There are simple laboratory experiments suggesting, but not proving, that CO2 levels doubling would cause a harmless +1 degree C. of warming in 200 years, if CO2 levels keep increasing at the current rate of 2 ppm per year, and
(8)
Our planet is getting 'greener' from adding man made CO2 to the air, and green plant growth rates would increase from adding even more -- doubling or tripling today's 400 ppm CO2 levels is what I hope for.
New data may cause changes to my climate conclusions at any time.
My conclusions are always supported by data.
My conclusions are not based on personal beliefs that never change, unproven theories, or wild guess predictions of the future climate.
I prefer the future to be warmer, from any cause, but at my age (64) I don't care if the average temperature is cooler or warmer in 100 years

Conclusions without supporting data are just personal opinions.
That means predictions of the future climate are ALWAYS personal opinions, because scientists know so little about the exact causes of climate change.
Climate scaremongering relies on scientific ignorance of the general public, and great trust in Democrat politicians.
I have no idea why any intelligent person would trust Democrat (or Republican) politicians.
I understand why most people would not have much correct climate science knowledge -- they get the 'CO2 is evil' propaganda in school.
I understand why people would trust predictions by government bureaucrat "scientists" -- some have PhD's, and they talk with (unjustified) authority about the future climate.
I don't trust, or listen to, anyone who predicts the future climate, or future anything else.
P.S.:
The wife thinks I ought to tell you something about myself, rather than being somewhat anonymous to avoid leftist death threats.
As usual I disagree, but will do as she recommends,
based on the wise belief:
Happy wife = happy life.
... by the way, we've dated since 1978,
married in 1983,
and have only had one fight.
It started in 1984,
and is expected to end in 2022.
Heh heh!
