Climate is the "average weather" over at least 30 years, according to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).

The Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) says that climate change is:
"a change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to natural climate variability observed over comparable time periods".
The UNFCCC recognizes natural climate change, but generally ignores natural causes of climate change after 1940.
The "climate change cult" implies climate change after 1940 is almost entirely man made, mainly from adding CO2 to the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels.
The climate computer "models" are called general circulation models (GCMs).
GCMs are modified weather models that were originally designed to forecast weather in the next week or two.
Weather models have never been useful for predictions beyond a week or two.
GCMs seem no better than the weather models!
Climate models do not accurately simulate natural climate change factors.
That's one reason 100-year average temperature predictions from GCMs are so far from reality.
The main reason is that scientists don't know exactly what causes climate change!
A real climate model is not possible without that knowledge!
Government bureaucrat "scientists" claim, believe it or not, that 4.5 billion years of natural climate change suddenly ended in 1940, when CO2 became the climate controller!
That's a fantasy -- no explanation is ever given (a "miracle" happened, I suppose?) and the belief is certainly not based on any real science.
Climate modelers are not doing real science when they make wild guess climate predictions, using modified weather models that were never intended for long-term forecasting.
The general public is far too impressed by government bureaucrats, especially those with science PhDs.
People with science PhDs who play computer games and make wrong, scary climate predictions for a living, are not doing real science!
What a waste of taxpayers' money!
Their GCMs have failed at long-term predictions for the past 30 years -- they have predicted warming three times faster than reality, as measured by weather satellites!
How many more decades of wrong average temperature predictions are required before everyone ignores those failed climate models, and the government bureaucrats who play games with them are fired?
Changes in the average global temperature since 1940 can be explained by natural factors.
The only unusual change since 1940 was the Arctic warming / ice melting from 1975 to 2012.
A possible cause is an increase of solar energy absorption, caused by continuous deposits of dark soot on the ice and snow in the Arctic.
That dark soot is from burning coal in Northern Hemisphere nations -- dirty ice and snow absorbs more solar energy than clean ice and snow -- but soot also pollutes the air, blocking some incoming sunlight.
Greenhouse gas warming from CO2 might be a decent explanation for Arctic warming if there was Antarctica warming too -- but we don't have that.
CO2 in the air is fairly evenly distributed -- the CO2 does not stay away from the air over Antarctica!
Earth has natural temperature controls such as clouds, ocean currents, and fog, and manmade pollution / aerosols that block sunlight -- all these controls could reduce the theoretical warming effects of man made CO2.
There are a lot of unknown climate change factors.
Of course natural temperature controls are generally ignored by the "global warming cult".
Surface thermometers measure only about half of the planet -- the rest of the planet's surface requires wild guess data ("infilling").
Infilling is the creation of temperature data out of thin air, by government bureaucrats.
Those wild guesses are made by bureaucrats who were hired because they BELIEVED in a coming global warming disaster, caused by man made CO2.
Government bureaucrat "scientists" EXPECTED to see global warming BEFORE they did their wild guess "infilling" -- I'd expect them to be biased when making those wild guesses -- confirmation bias!
NASA-GISS has the nerve to claim record high temperatures in areas of earth that have no surface thermometers!
NASA-GISS infills (wild guesses) missing data, and then claims an all-time record high temperature based on their (wild guess) data!

Surface thermometer data, including the infilling, show considerably more warming than weather satellites -- and the gap has grown significantly in the past decade.
Government bureaucrat scientists completely ignore weather satellite temperature data showing less warming than surface thermometers, even though satellites require far less "infilling" (only for small areas around both poles).
The Trump Administration should reopen the Endangerment Finding (about man made CO2) that was based on unproven speculation about greenhouse gases.
The Endangerment Finding was approved quickly in 2009, with little debate.
President Trump can't reduce the unnecessary costs of Obama's CO2 emission regulations enough without reopening the Endangerment Finding.
CO2 is not dangerous
-- it is beneficial and 'greens' the earth!
