The purpose of this blog is ...

... to refute the leftist fairy tale 

that CO2 is an evil, satanic gas,

and a runaway global warming crisis,

now in its early stages,

will eventually kill all life,

on our planet !

That's exactly what they believe,

and if you didn't know that,

you should be suspicious of

why that is not made clear.

That claim is based on no science,

and no common sense,

and no logic,

since current CO2 levels,

are near the lowest ever,

on our planet

The truth is just the opposite,

as we now have the best climate ever,

for humans and animals.

I try to refute the crazy leftist idea,

that a climate catastrophe,

is already in progress,

with absolutely no evidence,

that anything unusual is happening.

I feel free to insult leftists,

for the simple reason,

that they character attack me,

when I object to their claims,

of a coming climate catastrophe,

especially after I demonstrate,

that I know a few things,

about real climate science!

Real climate science,

tells us CO2 levels are too low,

and more CO2 in the air,

would accelerate green plant growth,

which would be good news.

The worst possible side effect,

of more CO2 in the air,

would be mild, harmless,

night time warming,

in cold, dry areas of our planet,

= good news for people who live there!

  

I also think most leftists are stupid heads,

who jump to conclusions,

and "parrot" their leaders' talking points,

without any independent investigation,

in spite of the fact,

their IQs are usually sufficient,

to do independent thinking!

How can we believe 

ANYTHING claimed by leftists?

-- They feel socialism 

works better than free markets?

-- And open borders 

are best for a prosperous nation?

-- The best way to help poor people 

is to give them money?

-- Governments should confiscate guns 

( except from criminals 

who won’t turn them in ! ) 

and then gun crime will disappear?

-- Raise the minimum wage 

to $15 per hour, 

and then low skill youths,  

will benefit?

You can keep your doctor?

You can keep your medical insurance plan?

Using fossil fuels,

will lead to runaway global warming, 

that will end all life on Earth?

With the leftists, 

its just one emotional belief,

after another!

The only surprise would be 

if they actually recognized CO2 

as the staff of life,

and realized the current amount,

of CO2 in the air,

is unusually low.

You just can’t expect to hear logic, 

data and reason from a leftist, 

-- even those with advanced degrees — 

leftist beliefs are based on faith,

like religious beliefs.

Leftist beliefs based on faith, 

to this long-time atheist,

seem like conventional religious beliefs,

based on faith.

Both are nonsense, to me, 

but what do I know?

I want more CO2 in the air,

to accelerate the growth, 

of C3 plants used for food.

And I think runaway global warming 

is a fairy tale!

Unlike the leftists, 

I admit that anything I write 

could be wrong.

I try to base conclusions,

on data and logic,

rather than beliefs and faith.

New information or data,

could lead me to a different conclusion.

Nothing can change 

a leftist conclusion,

although sometimes, 

they show some "flexibility",

... by moving further left !

Leftists — you can’t debate them, 

and you can’t shoot them.

You just have to live with them.

And tolerate their frequent virtue signaling,

and telling you how to live your life,

and telling you which words can't be used anymore,

and what new words have replaced them.

Modern climate junk (fake) science 

is just another symptom of leftism.

If CO2 was not demonized, 

leftists would demonize other things,

such as a hole in the ozone layer, 

or acid rain, 

or DDT, 

or ocean acidification, 

... wait -- they have already

demonized those things, 

in the past, not that long ago,

but demonizing CO2 worked better.

to scare people,

so the other boogeymen,

have been forgotten.

I admit to being a liberal at one time,

when I was protesting the foolish Vietnam War.

I burned my draft card,

in front of my Selective Service office.

I filed as a conscientious objector,

writing that I would go to prison,

before taking a gun to Vietnam,

and shooting people!

In the 1960s,

liberals were anti-government,

believe it or not.

As a libertarian since the mid-1970s,

I have never been a Republican,

and voted for only one Republican president,

in my entire life -- Reagan in 1980.

I am also a "born-again" atheist ,

(I considered becoming an agnostic,

but decided to remain an atheist),

so I reject all unproven beliefs and faith,

both religious and secular.

(of course I do consider, 

most of the Ten Commandments,

to be wise advice, because they are!)

The coming climate catastrophe,

is a leftist belief, based on faith,

and junk science,

with almost no real science.

I'd reject the coming 

climate catastrophe fairy tale, 

if it was led by Republicans,

or even led by libertarians.

Oh, by the way,

did I remember to mention,

that most leftists are stupid heads?

I happen to have two college degrees,

a BS and an MBA, but they don't mean much

for this blog. 

What is most important is that

I don't trust politicians OF ALL PARTIES.

That's important because 

"climate change" is 99% politics,

and 1% real science (some people involved

actually have science degrees = 1%)

I have written an economic / finance newsletter,
as a hobby, since 1977, and that newsletter has had
an economics blog since 2008
 -- both for subscribers only.

I devoted one issue 
of my economics newsletter
to climate change in 2007,
and another issue in 2014,
because fossil fuels are 
the foundation for economic growth.

I started this blog to update
the 2014 article. 

The global warming fairy tales
were getting more bizarre,
so I started commenting at 
several climate skeptic websites. 

In mid-2015 I decided other people 
might be interested too, 
so I publicized the URL
in some of my comments,posted
posted at several climate skeptic websites.
( my comments at global warmunist websites
seem to "disappear" in a few hours! )
