Renewable energy relies on many non-renewable resources

We have the recent US
"Green Bad Dream"
nightmare proposal
for 2030,
obviously designed
to destroy the
US economy !

There's also an effort to switch
Europe’s energy consumption
to 100% renewable energy
as soon as the year 2050.

But building
a renewable energy
infrastructure
would require a lot of
non-renewable energy
and many non-renewable
resources.

Solar panels require
the use of finite
rare earth elements.

Batteries require
finite earth-sourced
materials too.

China currently
has a monopoly
on many "rare earth"
elements.

Many other
non-renewable
materials are used in
the production of
renewable energy.

Lithium is essential
for many batteries.

Energy demand
does not decline
simply because
the sun isn’t shining
on solar panels,
and/or the wind
isn’t turning the
the wind turbines.

That's why
massive amounts
of energy storage
are mandatory for
renewable energy
to work consistently
on a large scale.

Lithium is also
essential for
the batteries
that power both
hybrid and electric
vehicles, which are
big part of any
sustainable
energy future.

Renewable
resources require
many materials
that will be mined
with machinery
powered by
fossil fuels.

That will add
more CO2
to the air !

And materials
such as lithium,
will be used
in batteries
that will
eventually
have to be
recycled and

replenished.
