Leftist hysteria about
the future climate,
Is never ending.
But the actual climate
keeps getting better,
and better, as more CO2
has been added to the air
in the past 100 years.
The cold northern half
of the Northern Hemisphere
has gotten warmer,
especially winter nights.
The tropics have barely changed.
Antarctica has gotten colder !
Climate activist
Greta Thunberg’s
recent speech
to the United Nations
revealed a deeply troubled
and angry teenager,
who had been brainwashed
and is being used by
the adults in her life.
She said her childhood
was taken away from her
by the looming threat
of "climate change".
That's complete nonsense,
but she has been trained
to ignore the actual climate,
and trust the always wrong,
wild guesses of a coming
climate "crisis" that we have
been hearing since the 1970s!
In the 1990s, former
Vice President Al Gore
declared that the North Pole
would be ice-free as soon
as 2015.
Meanwhile, the Arctic
sea ice extent has been
steady for the 13 years
since 2006:
People were told that snow
would be a thing of the past.
Instead, the Northern Hemisphere
has seen record levels of snow !
The melting Arctic
was supposed to make
polar bears extinct.
There were up to 10,000
polar bears in the late 1960s
-- now the count is up to 30,000 !
The acid rain scare was that
most trees were going to die
because of pollution from
burning fossil fuels.
The opposite happened
-- higher CO2 levels
have significantly
'greened' our planet:
A minority of scientists
got lots of attention
with their global cooling
scare of the mid-1970s.
That scare was easy
to sell at the time,
after the global cooling
from 1940 to 1975,
in spite of CO2 levels
growing the whole time,
which most scientists
had expected to cause
global warming !
In 1972, the Club of Rome
predicted mass starvation
and depletion of oil and
other natural resources.
The "coming" green crisis
is a never-ending story.
Green activists try to
scare people into
submission.
Young people are
especially susceptible.
Greta Thunberg,
a Swedish teenager,
falsely believes
the world is heading
for a mass extinction.
Adult "progressives"
are just as dumb.
And then there's
climate reality:

mild and harmless,

the northern half
of the Northern
Hemisphere:

show no acceleration

The weather is not
growing more extreme:
Children should be allowed
to enjoy their childhood
-- there are no climate
monsters under their beds.
It is cruel and irresponsible
for leftist adults to fill
vulnerable young minds
with scary climate change
fairy tales.
But they do.
