The global

temperature 

has ALREADY 

increased at least 

+1.5 degrees C. 

since the late 1600s 

( +2 degrees C., 

based on real time 

Central England 

measurements. )

Was there 

any damage 

from that 

global warming?

No damage.

In fact, people living

in the late 1600s

hated their cold climate.

There were some

famines in Europe.

We have observed 

past, intermittent,

mild, harmless,

global warming, 

while CO2 was 

added to the 

atmosphere 

after 1940.

Although there is 

no good explanation 

for the global cooling

from 1940 to 1975.

The "best" explanation

for the global cooling

was so bad, 

the government 

bureaucrats

keep reducing 

the global cooling

from 1940 to 1975,

so they don't have to 

explain it !

The "best" explanation

we've been handed

for that global cooling 

is that air pollution 

was blocking 

some sunlight,

from 1940 to 1975.

But then global warming 

began in 1975, while air 

pollution was STILL 

ramping up.

We know all the 

air pollution DID NOT 

suddenly fall out of the air

in 1975, allowing global 

warming to begin in 1975 !

Air pollution is obviously 

a wrong explanation,

intended for gullible people, 

and a mainstream media 

that will never question it.

In fact, air pollution 

had no significant 

decline until after 2000, 

and is still a serious 

problem in Asia.

Although starting 

with -0.3 degrees C.

global cooling 

from 1940 to 1975,

one global temperature

compilation now shows

no cooling at all -- another

has cut the cooling in half !

Changing climate history,

many decades after actual

measurements, seems like

science fraud.

Because it is science fraud.

Government 

bureaucrats 

predict lots of 

global warming,

and they also own

climate history data

-- a conflict of interest.

They change 

climate history,

at will, to create 

more global warming 
out of thin air, 

because they can.

This is never reported

in the mainstream media.

Repeated "adjustments"

to keep increasing the 

reported global warming,

usually by cooling the past,

seem like science fraud.

Because they are science fraud.

Climate science 

is far from 

being "settled".

The CO2 - global average

temperature relationship

has repeatedly changed,

and has not had a constant

positive correlation !

There have been 

three DIFFERENT  

CO2 level - global 

average temperature 

correlations since 1940:

  Negative correlation

          ( 1940 to 1975 ), 

  Positive correlation

         ( 1975 to 2005 ),

    No correlation 

     ( 2005 to mid-2015 ).

Humans added 

a lot of CO2 

to the air

after 1940,

from burning

fossil fuels.

There was also 

global warming, 

mainly from 

1975 to 2005.

The positive

correlation

from 1975 to 2005

does NOT prove 

CO2 emissions 

caused any of the 

global warming.

That's only 

an assumption,

based on 

laboratory 

infrared

spectroscopy

experiments,

using artificially 

dried air,

to prove CO2 

is a greenhouse

gas.

In the atmosphere,

CO2 competes 

with the far stronger 

greenhouse gas

of water vapor, 

whose percentage 

varies, and is 

not zero !

I don't mind 

hearing people 

claim that CO2 

caused "some" 

global warming 

after 1975, 

because that's 

a reasonable 

assumption.

It's an assumption, 

however, not a 

scientifically 

proven fact.

But:

There's nothing

in the temperature

record after 1940

that's unusual 

-- all the climate
changes after 1940 

could have had 
100% natural causes

Climate proxy 

temperature

reconstructions 

shows lots of 

long term climate

trends, but 

the changes

of the estimated 

temperatures

are rarely more than

one degree C.

in one century.

The estimated global 

average temperature

of Earth is up about

+0.5 degrees C. 

in the 78 years from 

1940 through 2018.

warming

+1.5 to +2.0 

degrees C. )

would be 

blamed 

on burning

fossil fuels !

More important:

The global warming 

since the cold years

in the late 1600s, 

has been GOOD news.

Why do many people 

believe FUTURE 

global warming 

must be BAD news ?

Future global 

warming could be 

more GOOD news, 

greening the planet 

like never before, and

producing more food 

than ever before. 

Some scientists 

began predicting 

a coming global 

warming crisis 

in the late 1950's.

But the global cooling 

from 1940 to 1975 

changed some minds

by the mid-1970s.

In the mid-1970s,

a small minority

of climate scientists

observed the cooling

from 1940 to 1975,

while CO2 levels were 

rising, which very few 

scientists had expected.

A small number of

scientists extrapolated

the 1940 to 1975 cooling 

far into the future,

and got media attention,

and government grants

to study the coming 

global cooling crisis

they were predicting.

So far they were wrong,

but the current warm

Holocene inter-glacial 

period that we live in,

WILL end someday,

and this planet 
will become

a lot colder 
for a long time. 

Unfortunately,

that media attention

in the mid-1970s

got scientists excited.

Since the mid-1970s,

an increasing number

of climate scientists

have been using 

scary predictions

to get media attention,

and government grants.

But their scary predictuions

were about global warming,

not global cooling. 

I challenge anyone 

to write a piece 

about any damage 

caused by the 

global warming 

in the past three 

hundred years 

( there is none ).

I want details,

and the names

of the "victims".

Or focus on the years 

since 1940, when 

large amounts of CO2 

were being added 

to the atmosphere, 

accompanied by 

intermittent, mild 

global warming.

If the 79 years, 

since 1940, 

of adding 

lots of CO2 

to the air, 

caused no serious 

climate problems, 

or even minor problems, 

then we have learned

an important lesson:

There's no justification, 

from past experience,

for assuming adding CO2 

to the air in the future 

will be a "serious problem", 

or even a moderate problem 

( but there is real pollution

when the CO2 is added 

to the atmosphere

by burning fossil fuels 

without modern 

pollution controls,

such as the air pollution 

that's now very visible 

in most large Chinese

and Indian cities ).

Adding CO2 to the air

is not something new.

What harm has 

happened from 

the CO2 added 

after 1940 ?

What will the climate 

be like in 100 years ?
