Japanese media suffer from climate change fantasies too

The Japanese
mass media
claim the
sea surface
temperatures
around Japan
are warming,
due to CO2.

The data tell
the opposite story.

Sea surface temperatures
around Japan cooled
after the huge 1998 El Nino
heat peak, then peaked again
with the next huge El Nino,
in late 2015 / early 2016 ...
and are cooling again.
(An El Nino is a Pacific Ocean
cyclical heat release,
unrelated to CO2 )

The trend,
for the past
21 years,
has been
relatively
flat, between
the El Nino
heat releases:

The Japanese
mass media
claim the number
of typhoons
is also on the rise.

But data from JMA
tell the opposite story.

The number of typhoons
has been trending down
modestly for many decades,
even though atmospheric
CO2 concentrations
have increased:

Conclusion"
The Japanese
mass media
cannot be trusted
on the subject of
climate change.
