"Climate Science" is Destroying Real Science

"Climate science" is mainly wrong wild guesses about the future climate.

"Climate science" is bad science that has persisted for three decades.

It reminds me of Lysenkoism, a pseudo-biological theory that plants (and people) could be trained to change their heritable natures.

Lysenkoism helped starve millions of people over decades in the Soviet Union, peaking under Khrushchev.

Lysenkoism had political support, so it monopolized debate.

Lysenko’s opponents were jailed or killed.

Now "climate science" is damaging the whole reputation of science.

In the 1970s global average temperatures were cooling.

Some scientists got attention by predicting a new ice age was coming.

In the 1980s global average temperatures began to warm.

Some scientists got attention by dusting off the greenhouse effect and claiming runaway warming was going to happen.

Since then, powerful green pressure groups have gained lots of attention and money from constant alarm about the future.

Excessive population growth, pesticides, rain forests, acid rain, ozone holes, sperm counts, genetically modified crops—all wildly exaggerated.

For runaway global warming, the end of life on Earth is always in the distant future, so can never be proven wrong.

Anyone who expresses doubt about dangerous climate change is accused of being paid by fossil-fuel interests and/or being a science denier.

Those so-called scientists who take money from green lobby groups and make scary wild guess climate predictions, get awards, rewards, and are treated as celebrities by the media.

Jim Hansen, who retired as head of the Goddard Institute of Space Studies at NASA, won over a million dollars in 'green prizes', while in charge of arbitrarily "adjusting" historical temperature data to show more warming.

The IPCC claims it is “95 per cent” (pulled number 95 out of a hat) sure that “more than half” (pulled word "half" out of a hat) of the slight warming “since 1950” is man-made.

That's a vague claim with no scientific proof.

The IPCC admits the top (warmest)
of their 100-year forecast range will only be reached if:
(1) Sensitivity to CO2 is high (unlikely),
(2) World population growth accelerates (unlikely),
(3) CO2 absorption by the oceans slows down (unlikely), and
(4) The world gives up natural gas and increases coal use tenfold (very unlikely).

The entire trillion-dollar 'green' industry rests on a single hypothetical assumption, for which there is absolutely no evidence, or common sense.

That assumption is that mild, harmless warming from CO2 alone will be tripled by extra water vapor—as the air warms from CO2 there will be an increase in absolute humidity, providing “a positive feedback”.

The positive feedback will cause runaway warming, which will eventually end all life on Earth.

There is enormous pressure for "climate scientists" to conform to the so-called runaway warming consensus.

This pressure comes from politicians, federal funding agencies, universities and professional societies, and other scientists who are green activists and advocates.

Most "climate scientists" are on government payrolls.

Governments get the "climate science" they pay for.

They get scary wild guesses of the future climate, made by the government bureaucrat "scientists", who actually have no idea what the future climate will be.
