The oceans are 'greening' from CO2 also !

Global-Greening
from carbon dioxide
includes a more robust
marine food chain.

Phytoplankton consumes
carbon dioxide.

Krill consume phytoplankton.

Blue whales consume krill.

Therefore,
carbon dioxide
is increasing whales’
food source ,
and that's good news
for our planet
if you like whales.

“Through photosynthesis,
phytoplankton consume
carbon dioxide
on a scale equivalent
to forests and other land plants.

Some of this carbon
is carried to the deep ocean
when phytoplankton die,
and some is transferred
to different layers of the ocean
as phytoplankton are eaten
by other creatures,
which themselves reproduce,
generate waste, and die.”

But ...
the term "waste"
in the quote
is misleading.

Calcareous sediment
produces one of the
most important
resources on Earth:
limestone.

There is no waste
in the 'rock cycle'.
