Fake science
is traditionally called
junk science.
The crisis
of credibility
and replicability
in science,
usually involves
junk science.
But real science
suffers from
corruption too.
REAL SCIENCE:
Real science
is observation of
real-world
phenomena.
Real science is
about observation
and evidence.
Real science
must be falsifiable,
and it is the job
of real scientists
to look hard
for evidence
to disprove,
or falsify,
their own claims!
Real science
is not about
speculation
and ad hoc
explanation-fitting.
Real science
is about
real-world
observation,
physical
measurements,
and falsifiable,
testable hypotheses.
JUNK SCIENCE:
Junk science pretends
to be real science.
There are people
with science degrees
involved.
Junk science
is about
unfalsifiable claims,
and explanations
of what we believe
might possibly be true.
Junk science "experts”
sit around considering
possible explanations.
Junk science
explanations
can't be
rigorously tested.
Junk science
is led by
self-proclaimed
“experts”
deciding ex nihilo,
Ex nihilo is a Latin phrase
meaning "out of nothing".
... "creation out of nothing"),
what the “truth” is,
and then they
declare it to be so.
Once the so-called
junk science “experts”
have spoken,
their conclusions become
the absolute truth.
If you disagree,
and have evidence
their “declared truth”
is not correct,
then the burden
is thrown on YOU
to prove,
beyond any doubt,
that the “experts”
are wrong
( even when
you have evidence,
and they don’t ).
Junk science tells us
humans are causing
the Greenland
and Antarctic
ice sheets to melt
from CO2 emissions.
If we ask for pproof,
we are told that we must
provide evidence
that this claim
is NOT true.
That's pure
junk science !
