Fake "97% consensus" surveys used for the appeal to authority that climate alarmists use to avoid debate on climate science

The claims of a strong
“scientific consensus”
about a coming climate
change crisis are lies.

Those fake surveys are used
by politicians, and government
bureaucrat "scientists",
to support their frequent
predictions of a coming
climate change crisis,
which we have been hearing
since the 1970s, but the
alleged crisis never shows up.

Following are links to
four articles on this blog,
originally posted March 2019,
analyzing the four most
popular fake surveys.

The 97% consensus lie
is based on a few
very biased "surveys",
that start with expectations
of a strong consensus,
and then do whatever
is necessary to get
to 97%.

A group of Canadian retired Earth
and atmospheric scientists, called
themselves "Friends of Science".

They produced a 2014 report
that reviewed four popular
climate change surveys,
and abstract-counting
exercises.

Friends of Science claim
honest conclusions, based
on all the data received,
without the very selective
editing, would have been:

(A)
Oreskes actually found
only 1.2% agreement,

(B)
Doran and Zimmerman
actually found
only 3.4% agreement,

(C)
Anderegg et al.
actually found
66% agreement, and

(D)
Cook et al.
actually found
only 0.54% agreement.
