I find this true story
about mysterious
drones to be
But what does this
have to do with
climate change ?
"Climate change"
is the claim that
climate science
is simple -- CO2 is
the "control knob"
of the temperature,
and the climate
can be predicted
50 to 100 years
in the future.
Quite a few people
with science degrees
make this claim,
but it is wrong.
In real science, most
of what scientists claim
turns out to be wrong,
and at least half of
experiment results
can't be replicated
by others.
Progress in science
almost always comes
from a single scientist,
or small team,
who refute
the consensus
of scientists.
In real science,
the causes
of climate change
are not known in any
detail -- just a list of
obvious suspects.
The percentage
of climate change
caused by humans
is unknown.
For about
4.5 billion years,
there were ONLY
natural causes
of climate change.
Now we have scientists
claiming natural causes
don't matter anymore !
Their proof:
Because they say so !
That false claim
is part of climate
junk science --
providing (false)
simple answers
for every question,
and eventually
no questions
are allowed.
Real science
is a complicated
field where there
are many questions,
and few answers.
One example is
this true story,
about a brand
new subject
I'd never heard
of until this week.
Identified flying
objects, coming
from unidentified
locations !
Not UFO's --
these flying
objects are
obviously
large, but
ordinary
drones.
Very smart people,
many with science
degrees, are being
asked many
questions about
these drones,
for which
they have
no answers !
LOT'S OF QUESTIONS
AND NO ANSWERS
IS TYPICAL OF
REAL SCIENCE !
AND NO ANSWERS
IS TYPICAL OF
REAL SCIENCE !
Starting before
Christmas 2019,
unidentified drones
have been appearing
each night in the skies
above Colorado,
Nebraska and Kansas.
The drones are
six feet wide and have
red and white lights.
They do not look
like military drones.
Their propulsion
system makes
some noise
(UFOs never do)
and seems to
be propellers,
similar to much
smaller drones.
THE MYSTERY:
No one knows
where they
came from,
who owns them,
or what they are
doing at night.
Eyewitnesses claim
the drones can move
“much faster than
a regular aircraft”.
That doesn't help much,
since non-military drones
are more like helicopters.
The FBI, the FAA and the
U.S. Air Force are all
investigating this mystery.
The U.S. military,
every government
agency that has
been asked,
and many
major companies
in the area
have all denied
operating the drones.
Federal, state and local
law enforcement officials
can't solve this mystery.
The drones keep
coming back
on most nights.
One northern Colorado
resident, Michelle Eckert
has spotted drones
above her rural
northern Colorado
home.
She has seen up to
one dozen or more
with wingspans
about six feet wide.
“The sky is lit up with
Christmas lights basically,”
she told CBS News.
“There’s lights and things
flying all over. It reminded me
of something from a movie.”
Eyewitnesses
sometimes see
just one drone.
Or a pair.
Sometimes
large groups,
of up to 30 drones,
are flying in very
close coordination.
Last week
a Denver Post
reporter went out
to find the drones.
Around 6:10 p.m.,
the reporter and
photographer spotted
two unmanned drones
whizzing west above I-70,
8 miles outside Limon.
More drones
could be seen
outside Last Chance,
a slight whir audible
as they passed overhead.
The drones
flashed one
red light
flashed one
red light
and one white.
Two other
yellowish lights
remained on
throughout
the flight.
In 20 minutes,
a half-dozen flying objects
could be seen traversing
over the barren wind farms.
There are many of them.
They are operating
over a large area.
Always at night.
Lincoln County Sheriff
Tom Nestor says his
county map is now
“dotted with blue
and yellow thumbtacks
because so many people
have been reporting
sightings".
There’s a series of tacks
clustered around
Interstate 70 in Limon,
with a few scattered
north and south
of the interstate.
The sheriff suspected
a local company might
be doing some mapping,
but at night ?
The FAA is as puzzled
as everyone else.
Dozens of federal,
state and local
law enforcement
officials gathered
in the town of Brush
to talk about
the drones.
Reporters were told
that there is still
“no explanation”
for this mystery.
People living in Colorado,
Nebraska and Kansas
were still demanding answers,
when a similar sighting
was reported in Minnesota.
Minneapolis
Air Traffic Control
contacted the Hastings
MN Police Department ,
with a report from
an airplane pilot
about the drones
seen over Juniata
and Hastings
on a Sunday night.
Air traffic control reported
the drones were flying
in a grid pattern around
9-10 p.m. on that Sunday.
CONCLUSION
I'll make some guesses:
My guess #1:
Maybe this is an
unsophisticated,
but secret,
U.S. military
program
the Pentagon
won't talk about ?
My guess #2:
Maybe UPS
drone operator
trainees
are practicing
for fast
package
deliveries
by drones ?
deliveries
by drones ?
My guess #3:
A secret drone club,
that has fun scaring
their neighbors ?
More important
than my guesses:
It's only been
a few weeks,
but some very
smart people
can't figure out:
(1)
Where
drones
launched,
not even sure
if from the US ?
(2)
What drones
are doing
in those
rural regions ?
(3)
Why drones are
only seen at night ?
(4)
Where
drones landed,
not even sure
if in the U.S. ?
That's a lot of
unanswered
questions !
(100%)
But of course
we know the
global average
temperature
100 years
in the future ?
