"GMC Hummer"
is an all-electric
pickup truck,

it looks like
it would not
hold much cargo:

The GMC Hummer
is expected
to go on sale
by late 2021,
or early 2022.
GM is now
claiming 1,000
horsepower,
and 0 to 60 mph
acceleration
in three seconds,
about the same
as a very fast
2020 Chevrolet
Corvette Z51
model !
Until about
ten years ago,
the Hummer name
was synonymous
with "gas guzzler",
so it's strange that
brand would be used
for an electric vehicle.

dominate

market.
Hummer was
originally a
military vehicle:
In 1992,
AM General
began selling
a civilian version
of the
M998 Humvee
to the public
under the
brand name
"HUMMER".
The first two
Hummer H1s
were purchased
by big Arnold
Schwarzenegger.
