The U.S. is destroying
its forests to make
Europe "greener" ?
Is wood the USA’s
new coal ?
The United States
and the EU
decided to consider
wood burning
as green energy.
You simply assume
that trees converted
CO2 into biomass
during their growth.
But a tree burned
in a short period of time
can only be replaced by
a new tree that takes
many decades to grow
that tall.
Burning wood
is a dirty way
to generate
heat energy.
Only soft coal burned
with no pollution controls
would be dirtier.
"Wood chip" factories
in the USA are located
near coasts, mainly
the east coast, near ports.
The ports are are for
massive exports,
mainly to Europe.
Forests in the
eastern United States
have been cut down
for two decades.
Highly subsidized
wood-fired power plants
are being built in the USA,
called “biomass”
to disguise the
required deforestation.
Former coal-fired
power plants are
easily conevrted
to wood burning.
Operators are allowed
to burn some old car tires
and/or chemical-soaked
disused railway ties
( coasted with preservatives
now banned in the USA ).
Houses, cars and plants
near such power plants
are covered with
a sticky layer of soot
every day.
Environmental destruction
and air pollution is created
under the label
of climate protection.
Organizations such as the
German Environmental Aid
( DUH )
falsely promote wood pellet
stoves as clean heat .
In Germany, every tree
in the Hambach Forest
gets defended against
coal mining interests.
In the USA
"environmentalists"
celebrate the destruction
of US forests, supported by
government subsidies.
