Global Warming,
or Climate Change,
is a divisive
political issue,
that is too often
science-free.
We are told that
one variable determines
the future climate, so
predicting the future
climate is easy.
We are then given
computer model
"predictions" that
have over estimated
global warming
by 2x to 3x.
And we find out
those models are
being adjusted
to over estimate
global warming
even more in 2021 !
We are told a global
average temperature
that no one lives in.
A global average
temperature
hides the details
of actual warming
since 1975 -- mainly
in the northern half
of the Northern
Hemisphere,
mainly in the six coldest
months of the year,
and mainly at night !
Think of warmer winter
nights in Alaska, rather
than a global average.
We are told the climate
in the 1700s was perfect,
when it was cooler than
average, and that warming
since then is bad news,
when people in past
centuries actually think
it was good news.
We are told a climate crisis
is in progress, when we are
living in the best climate
in hundreds of years !
We have been told a
climate crisis is coming
for the past 50 years !
Climate science
has been highjacked
by politicians,
environmental
pressure groups,
and other leftists.
Climate change
is a fake crisis
that can only be
prevented,
leftists claim,
by a stronger
central government,
which is something
leftists have always
wanted !
Earth's climate
is always changing.
‘Climate’ is defined
as average weather
over a 30-year period.
The difference between
the current monthly
global average temperature ,
and its 30- year average,
is the the temperature
"anomaly".
Anomalies are usually
shown on a chart in
tenths of a degree,
making tiny changes
look large.
When the actual temperature
is shown on a chart,
the changes over 125 years
are barely visible.
The honest global warming

page shows that.
When using a smart phone
to see this blog,
you will not see
that chart unless
you use the
optional "web view"
(if you use web view,
the blog text can
be enlarged for
very easy reading,
because of my narrow
paragraph format.)
The surface measurements
are not evenly distributed
over the globe, especially
over the oceans, and
at high latitudes.
Questionable schemes
are used to extrapolate
("infill") sparse data
to approximate full
global coverage.
Infilled data are
wild guessed data,
because people
who are making up
the numbers expect
to see, and want to see,
lots of global warming.
For land surfaces,
divided into grids,
most grids include
infilled numbers,
and some are
ONLY infilled
temperature numbers,
rather than actual
temperature
measurements.
The following variables
are believed to influence
Earth's climate -- the
importance of each
variable is not known,
no matter what the
government scientists
claim:
Earth's orbital and
orientation variations
Changes in ocean circulation,
including ENSO, and other
cycles
Solar irradiance and
solar activity variations
Cloud and volcanic
aerosol emissions
variations
Greenhouse gas emissions
Land use changes and
economic growth near
weather stations
Random variations
of the complex,
non-linear
climate system
Unpredictable catastrophes
Leftist scientists repeatedly
"adjusting" raw data
to show more global warming.
Unknown causes
of climate change.
