CO2s strongest "greenhouse effect", by far, is from the first 20 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in the air.

The "greenhouse effect" declines rapidly as CO2 levels increase.

CO2 is near 400 ppmv now, and may no longer have any additional "greenhouse effect" as it increases, or the effect could be too small to measure.

Even if you insist CO2 was responsible for ALL the warming after 1950, with no scientific proof this is true, the amount of warming was less than one degree F., and mainly in the northern half of the Northern Hemisphere during winter nights.

The actual warming measured by weather satellites is far from what people think of as "global warming", and not what ANY climate models predicted.

In 2014 the "environmentalists" once again "forgot" to mention they've been predicting a climate catastrophe for 45 years in a row … and the average temperature has barely changed in those decades?

There is NO scientific proof CO2 has caused ANY of the warming since 1850, and even the IPCC admits half the warming (pre-1940) was NOT caused by CO2.

Even if there was proof CO2 caused some of the warming after 1975, there is still no proof an increase of CO2 beyond the current 400 ppmv would have enough of a warming effect to be measurable.

My advice, based on studying the climate since 1997:
(A) Celebrate more CO2 in the air -- CO2 greens the Earth.

(2) Celebrate slight warming.
.
(3) Hope the Modern Warming continues, because warming is better than the ONLY other alternatives identified by ice core studies = cooling, or another ice age.

(4) Stop listening to smarmy leftists trying to gain political power by claiming a climate disaster is coming, unless everyone does as they say without question.

(5) Environmentalists exhibit cult-like behavior:
- They ridicule and character attack skeptics.
- They refuse to debate.
- They refuse to admit they could be wrong.
- They reject science and real data in favor of climate astrology (computer game simulations of the climate 100 years into the future that grossly overestimate actual warming in the first ten years of their 100-year predictions 97% of the time).

On the subject of climate change, the leftists are the "Baghdad Bobs" of the world.

Note: Only conservative groups were harassed by an IRS division headed by a hater of conservatives, as revealed in personal e-mails, who took the fifth amendment to avoid incriminating herself, after multiple spontaneous "hard drive crashes" caused many incriminating IRS e-mails to "disappear".

An Obama appointee at NASA is responsible for manipulating and withholding climate data with the obvious goal of needlessly scaring people about the climate in 2014.

A two one-hundredths of a degree higher average temperature in 2014 than the prior record in 2010 is a meaningless change when the margin of error is very optimistically claimed to be +/- one tenth of a degree.

NASA might have mentioned, but didn't, there are no surface thermometers to measure most of the world's land and oceans, so they "infill" data for most of the Earth..
"Infill" means they make up the data … and you would be right to suspect NASAs boss made sure the made up data was just enough to push the 2014 average global temperature slightly beyond 2010, exactly the result his boss Obama wanted as his climate talking point.

And never mind those pesky NASA weather satellites that cover almost the entire Earth and do not require a huge amount of made up "infilled" data -- no need to ever mention them in any NASA press release until they measure a new warmest year record … which hasn't happened since 1998
