Real Science is boring,
includes doubt,
and skepticism,
and theories can be falsified.
Those smarmy leftists,
took all the pleasure,
out of mild night time warming,
by calling it "climate change",
because if they said,
"warmer nights in colder nations"
that wouldn't scare anyone.
Leftists want you excited,
and very scared,
of climate change,
so you will demand.
that your government,
do something now,
and that something,
will be more regulations,
and more control,
over the private sector,
with a goal of new energy taxes,
to fund even more,
government spending.
"Climate change",
is politics and junk science,
with only a small amount,
of real science,
which is:
-- Based on very simple,
laboratory experiments,
CO2 may cause,
mild, harmless warming,
in the real world,
mainly at night,
in cold climates,
adding up to,
only +1 degree C.,
of warming,
in the next 133* to 200** years!
* = 2 ppm per year more CO2 in air
** = 3 ppm per year more CO2 in air
Climate change has become,
an indirect route to socialism,
without saying "socialism",
by allowing bureaucrats,
and politicians,
to falsely claim,
they need to expand,
the government,
"to save the Earth".
The problem with this scheme,
is our climate is wonderful now,
and has been getting better,
for at least 500 years,
so it would be counterproductive,
to to stop adding CO2,
to the atmosphere,
because adding CO2 is good news:
(1) greening our planet,
(2) enhancing food production, and
(3) probably making nights warmer,
in colder, dryer areas,
so far measured,
mainly in the northern half,
of the Northern Hemisphere.
After 40 years living in Michigan,
and 30 years in the same home,
the leftist global warming frenzy,
made me expect no more snow here,
but our climate has barely changed.
My wife is outside now,
shoveling the first snow,
off our driveway,
and will later tell me,
she enjoyed the workout,
to make me feel,
like a lazy bum,
Long ago I had told her,
with great certainty,
that most Michigan men,
die from heart attacks,
from shoveling snow,
knowing they will be late,
to a job they don't like.
And that's why,
I prevented 'certain death'
by retiring at age 51,
at the end of 2004,
from a white collar job,
I didn't like,
and halted snow shoveling,
which 'allowed me',
to reach age 64 this year!
I've been reading,
about climate change,
online since 1997,
and I have to admit,
climate change reading,
sometimes gets tedious,
especially articles and papers,
that are 100% climate science,
and no climate politics.
In the past 20 years,
there were many times,
I struggled to reach my goal,
of reading at least one,
serious climate science article,
every week.
The big picture is,
government bureaucrat,
"climate science",
is junk science,
and it is not a close call.
Government bureaucrats,
make up "facts".
They make wild guess predictions,
of the future temperature,
that have been way off for 30 years,
making them look like fools,
so they repeatedly "adjust",
historical temperature data,
to create more global warming,
out of thin air,
desperate to make,
their prior predictions,
look less wrong!
The 'global warmunists',
top talking points,
are completely data-free,
or use manipulated data,
all endlessly repeated,
like propaganda,
but also easily refuted.

Government "climate science" itself,

I recently thought about,

that some leftist economist,
once pulled out of his hat,
or maybe from two feet lower.
The average temperature,
had already increased,
at least +2 degrees,
since the late 1600s,
when solar energy was very low,
called the Maunder Minimum,
an unusually cold period,
that caused famines in Europe.
Did that +2 degrees C. warming,
possibly up to +3 degrees C.,
since the late 1600s,
cause any problems?
No problems at all.
People were thrilled,
by a warming climate,
based on anecdotal evidence.
