Late December every year,
I read some climate change
articles that were
in magazines such as
Scientific American,
during the year.
The 2017 articles
were worse than ever.
There seems to be
a competition
among writers
for who can invent
the scariest fairy tale
about what's
going to happen
in the future.
It's all fiction,
of course,
but the writers
may not realize that !
The articles
also serve
to remind me
how stupid and
gullible leftists are !
Of course I already
knew that, based on
their support for:
- Socialism
- Free college
- ObamaCare (I'm a victim!)
- Open borders
- $15 minimum wage
- Keystone pipeline (against)
- Legal marijuana candy and
snacks to tempt children!
Once in a while they
get something right,
maybe by accident,
such as pro-gay marriage,
but their leaders were
wrong on that subject
for decades too !
What is the Climate Change Cult?
They are devious leftists
with a secret handshake,
who pretend to be 'scientific'
but wouldn't recognize
real climate science
if it sat in their lap!
They attack the foundation
of free market capitalism,
which is every inexpensive
high density source of energy:
Coal, oil, natural gas, and even
clean nuclear power.
Real climate science
would promote
adding CO2 to the air
to green the Earth.
Fake science uses scary
wild guess predictions
of a coming climate crisis,
that will never come,
to control people and
grow government power.
Debate is evaded by using
vicious character attacks,
such as calling skeptics
"climate deniers" and
"science deniers" --
a sure sign of fake science.
Leftists who love to tell you
how to think, and stifle
debate with character attacks,
are evil people, scaring you
with fake climate predictions,
and frequently changing
historical temperature data,
to show more global warming
... simply because they can !
They make the global
warming predictions,
and they also compile
the average temperature
of our planet, so they have
the power to "adjust"
temperature actuals
to match their predictions,
and "adjust" they do --
in fact there's lots of
"adjustin"
and re-"adjustin",
and re-re-"adjustin'
going on -- a convenient
conflict of interest !
The climate change cult
used to be called
the global warming cult,
... and back in the 1970s
the global cooling cult,
then the hole in the
ozone layer cult,
then the acid rain cult !
Their fake boogeyman
keeps changing,
as our environment
keeps getting better,
except for the pollution
in China and India,
they don't care about,
because what they
really want is
powerful central governments:
World socialism or marxism,
and huge government subsidies
for their pet industries:
Windmills and solar panels !
It's the modern way
to sell socialism:
"Save the Earth Socialism",
because telling the truth
about socialism is depressing:
The slower economic growth,
higher unemployment,
and the economic failures
of Marxism in USSR, eastern
Europe, China and Venezuela !
Religious leaders may say
you should follow them,
without question,
to save your soul.
As an atheist for my whole life,
I'm not sure what that means,
but it doesn't sound like
a bad thing.
Climate change leaders say
you should follow them,
without question,
to save the Earth.
As a climate change blog editor,
I see the 'climate change cult'
as a secular religion,
which is a substitute
for traditional religions.
I see climate cult members
as evil people who want
to keep fossil fuels away
from the one billion people
living on our planet
with no electricity.
Climate change is 99% politics
and 1% fake science --
and such bad science
that it's hard to believe,
even after my 20 years,
reading about
climate science
and climate change.
Welcome to the
wacky world of the
"global warming" cult,
now the "climate change" cult,
and if it was up to me,
I'd call them:
"The cult of
stupid leftists,
trying to control others,
by falsely claiming
they are trying to
save the planet !"
