Trump's tweet made leftists go berserk,
thoroughly entertaining those of us,
who think the coming, since the 1970s,
climate crisis, is nothing more than a
leftist fairy tale!
In the past Donald Trump
had called climate change,
"a hoax", which it is,
if you understand
the runaway warming fantasy
included in "climate change",
but blaming it on the Chinese,
made no sense.
It's true the Chinese,
have taken advantage,
of the climate change cult,
by polluting themselves
to lower manufacturing costs,
and promising to do nothing
about CO2, until 2030 ...
or maybe never.
But the Chinese didn't create,
the 'coming climate change
catastrophe' fantasy.
I applauded Trump for ignoring
the meaningless Paris Accords,
I had cursed Obama for
donating $1 billion dollars
to the worthless Green
Climate Fund, while China,
India and Russia,
donated nothing.
But I also cursed Trump,
for exiting the Paris Accords,
only for economic reasons,
and NEVER mentioning,
the fake science, used to claim,
a coming climate catastrophe.
If Trump is afraid to speak up,
about fake climate science,
and he doesn't seem afraid
to speak up about anything else,
then who else will speak up?
Once a year,
in late December,
I look up a recent
climate change article,
in Scientific American,
just to study the latest
climate change nonsense,
This year I was shocked,
by scary climate claims,
backed by no science,
and no comment section for
readers to challenge the claims !
I would have posted
an intelligent comment,
but it probably would have
been deleted !
Comments I leave,
on pro-global warming
websites, seem to "disappear"
by the next day:
- no skepticism is allowed,
- me writing: "CO2 does not
control the climate",
is probably equivalent,
to an atheist posting:
"There is no God",
on a religious website !
Falsifiability means a conclusion,
can be shown to be false,
by an experiment, or observation,
Falsifiability is a critical aspect,
of real science, but missing
in fake climate science.
Is there any way to refute,
or falsify, the claim
that climate change,
is leading to runaway
global warming,
that will end life on Earth?
It appears there is no way.
Global warming is an unscientific,
unfalsifiable theory, stretched to
accommodate any weather.
What if global temperatures,
take a plunge for a sustained period?
That possibility is already covered,
with the usual bull-shirt "study":
James Hansen,
former NASA GISS Director,
published a paper,
suggesting global warming
will trigger a short ice age,
in the near future !!!
Up is down.
Down is up.
Black is white.

Welcome to the bizarro world,
of "climate change",
a term that really means nothing,
because climate is always changing.
"Climate denier", and
"science denier",
also mean nothing --
just nasty character attacks.

Author Roth interviewed
Jonathan Overpeck,
a climate scientist
at the University of Michigan,
about 45 minutes from where I live,
so this article got my attention.
It's been very cold in MI for two weeks,
with more unusual cold forecast for
the the first week of January, with
some days not reaching 10 degrees F.,
... and that means I was waiting,
for someone in Michigan to claim,
the cold is due to "climate change",
formerly known as global warming.
Overpeck says the Arctic is warming,
much faster than most of the planet,
which is true.
He doesn't mention the Antarctic,
is not warming at all, because
real greenhouse warming
would affect BOTH poles,
and you don't need to know that !
Overpeck claims a dramatic decline,
in the amount of sea ice,
that covers the region (Arctic)
each winter, but that is a lie.
My December 26 post,
with a chart, at the link below,
shows December 21 sea ice extent,
has barely changed
in the years since 2006:

Overpeck's lie means everything else
he says is not worth listening to,
especially the comedy line that follows:
"Even this week’s cold weather
is probably being caused
at least in part by global warming",

The so called climate scientist,
is crazy!
Overpeck also claims:
“ ... warming of the Arctic,
.. is due to human emissions
of greenhouse gases and
primarily burning of fossil fuels,”
Overpeck again ignores the lack
of warming in Antarctica,
which suggests Arctic warming
is caused by something
other than greenhouse gasses,
-- that wouldn't affect Antarctica.
Two better explanations,
for unique Arctic warming,
that wouldn't affect Antarctica:
(1)
Sea current changes,
which affect floating Arctic ice,
but couldn't affect Antarctica ice,
which is sitting on land, and
(2)
Dark soot continuously deposited,
on snow and ice in the Arctic,
from coal burning in the
Northern Hemisphere,
leading to darker snow and ice,
that absorbs more solar energy,
than pristine white snow and clear ice.
No matter what happens to the weather,
the climate changers blame,
humans burning fossil fuels !
Unusual warm weather confirms their beliefs.
Unusual cold weather confirms their beliefs.
I suspect an abrupt plunge,
into a new ice age,
would be described,
as a classic symptom,
of global warming too !
