Record amount of fake news on California "record" temperatures

During the state’s most destructive wildfire season this year, California set "official" temperature records in August, September and October. At least according to UCLA climate scientist Daniel Swain. Climate alarmists love to make scary declarations about global warming. They don't have to be true. Scary is good enough. 

Below are charts of actual monthly temperatures in Los Angeles and San Francisco for August, September and October 2020. None of the temperatures are near a record even though economic growth has increased the urban heat island effect (where cities get warmer and warmer than surrounding less densely populated areas as they grow).

I suppose if you take actual temperatures from California weather stations and "adjust" them just the right way, it adds up to "record heat" for the state. This is not real science:
