A recent article on this blog looked at the
48 US contiguous states, to point out
there were seven state temperature
records set after 1995.
The data were NOT what most people
expected, due to global warming:
Only one of the seven state records
was for heat -- the other six state records
were cold temperature records !
Today we'll consider
heat records set
in each continent
-- the last heat record was
set in 1977, just two years
after global warming
began in 1975.
